Bishop Amat High School has shared several updates regarding enrollment and college preparation over the last week.

2026-2027 Registration: Enrollment for the upcoming school year is currently underway. The first portion of the registration fee must be submitted by March 13, 2026, to secure placement for returning students.
College Planning: A specialized Mini College Fair for students will be held in the school library on Tuesday, March 10, from 2:45 PM to 4:15 PM. Additionally, resources from the March 4th "Secrets to Winning a Scholarship" webinar have been made available to families.
Counseling Updates: The Counseling and College Center has been active on Instagram (@bishop.amat.counseling), providing daily resources for college planning and important application deadlines.
Amat Family Night: The school announced its annual Family Night at Dodger Stadium, scheduled for Monday, April 13. The event will feature the Los Angeles Dodgers facing the New York Mets.

The Lancers have had a busy week of playoff competition and spring season openers.

Boys Soccer: After a 1-0 victory against Godinez Fundamental in the first round of the state playoffs on March 3, the top-seeded Lancers fell to Los Alamitos with a score of 2-1 on March 8, 2026.
Boys Basketball: The team concluded its playoff run in the CIF State Division I Championships on March 3, falling to Crespi with a final score of 83-66.
Softball: The Lady Lancers secured an 11-5 tournament win against Agoura on March 5, but later faced a 7-2 loss against the Mountain View Toros on March 7. They are scheduled to play Paraclete on Monday, March 9.
Track and Field: Bishop Amat hosted La Salle for a meet on March 4. Notable performances included Miguel Tellez and Anthony Cano, who recorded times of 11.37 and 11.51 in the 100m, respectively.
Wrestling: Recent reports highlighted a successful season for the wrestling program, with the boys team securing the Mission League title and the girls team winning the Almont League title.

Footprints Walk: The annual Bishop O'Connell Footprints Walk is set for Saturday, March 14, at Kiefer Stadium. The event supports Catholic Charities of Los Angeles and will feature student music performances.
