Boys Soccer: The Lancers secured a 1-0 victory against Godinez Fundamental in the first round of the CIF State Division III regional playoffs on March 3. This followed their 2-1 win over Newport Harbor on March 1 to claim the CIF Southern Section Division 2 title.
Boys Basketball: After winning the Southern Section Division 2 championship in late February, the team competed in the CIF State Division I Championships on March 3. They fell to Crespi with a final score of 83-66, concluding a historic playoff run.
Softball: The Lady Lancers had a busy week with mixed results. They defeated South Hills 2-1 on March 5 and Lakewood 12-7 on March 7, but suffered an 11-0 shutout loss to Agoura on March 5 and a close 7-6 loss to Aliso Niguel on March 6.
Baseball: The varsity team defeated St. Bernard 3-2 in a league matchup on March 3. Meanwhile, the freshman squad prepared for a non-conference game against El Rancho scheduled for March 11.
Track and Field: Bishop Amat hosted a meet against La Salle on March 4. Standout performances included Miguel Tellez (11.37s) and Anthony Cano (11.51s) in the 100m sprint.
Boys Tennis: The team faced Don Bosco Tech on March 5, ultimately falling with a score of 11-4 in league play.
Alumni Achievement: Class of 2021 alumna Mya Williams made headlines on March 6, contributing a key layup and strong play for Smith College in their 73-55 NCAA Tournament first-round victory over Union (NY).
